Job Fair
A Job Fair was hold at North York Memorial Hall, 5110 Yonge Street, Toronto, just below North York Central Library on May 21, 2015, last Thursday. I went to there by subway from home. I had a appointment to meet my classmates and teathers at 10:45 because the job fair would start at 11 o'clock. There was a lot of people waiting for the job fair starting in Hall.
When I went into the Hall, I saw about 20 desks which were put around the Hall. There were some copies of introducing information about the work position what they wanted to offer. I went around fast to look for what I may be interesting in and then I would talk with them. For example, I saw a employing paper was about drivers of school bus. Then I had a 5-minute talk with the guy and filled in a information paper leaving to him. He told me to wait for their calling. After we finished to look around and talk with the emploier, we went to wokeshop room and listened to a presentation about how we can look for a job which we want.
After then, we went upstairs to North York Central Library. The library had 6 floors and more different function areas. Teathers told us the library is the second largest one in Toronto. The library is so big that we just walked around the second floor together. I saw some little rooms with door and window. Teathers told us people can use these rooms if they want much more quiet. I was very surprise when I saw a piano room. This was beyond my imaginings
After a short break with teathers and classmates in Library, I went back home by subway again with my classmates. I thought that I had a better field trip.
